Alassio and sorroundings

Alassio , a pearl set in the Western Ligurian Coast, strategic point for the nearby       Cote d’Azur, besides being known as the land of sun, sea, entertainment and sport.  It’s famous for the “Budello” –  the old town centre with its narrow streets, its open-air shopping centre, with over 200 shops and boutiques, excellent restaurants for an enjoyable holiday.

Alassio is a  few kilometres from the other “typical” cities of  Western Liguria such as:  Albenga, Loano, San Remo, Savona and Genoa.

Numerous pubs and nightclubs makes  Alassio chic and vibrant able to satisfy even the younger generation. The symbol of the town is the famous “Muretto di Alassio” (wall of Alassio) that now exhibits over 950 tiles autographed by stars of show business, sport and culture. Facing the wall there is the famous “Caffè Roma” which once was really  and truly THE meeting place for celebrities and famous actors.
